BASIC GAMBLING RULES :
BACCARAT
Baccarat Rules
Baccarat is one a game that is not often
played by many players because they don’t know the rules well. I’m here to
change all of that for you.
The game is simple enough to understand. It starts with the dealer placing 2
piles out in front of you, one is the players pile and the other is the
bankers pile. Up to 14 players can be at a baccarat table at once. There is
no number 13 seat because of the superstitions surrounding it.
There are 3 people who run the game. One of them is the Caller, and the
other 2 position themselves to take care of the bets of the players.
Your goal is to choose one of the 2 piles that you think will have the
highest value after the game is done. You can also choose to vote for a tie
in which case you get 9-1 odds. Now the value of the cards is pretty simple
they are as followed:
The 2-9 have the value that is stated on the card.
The 10, jack, queen, and king are all valued 10.
Ace counts as 1.
O.K. now that you know the card values the game is pretty simple.
The dealer places 2 cards in each pile.
If the total value of one of the piles is 8 or 9 then the game is over, no
more cards are dealt, and the pile with the greatest value wins or the tie
wins.
If no one has 8 or 9 it is the players turn. During the players turn one
card is added to the players pile only if that piles value is 0-5. So if the
values of the pile is not 0-5 or if there is no 8 or 9 present no card is
added to the pile. If the pile does not have a value of 0-5 or 8 or 9 then
another card is added to the pile.
Now it is there is a banker’s turn. If the bankers pile is equal to 7, 8, or
9 then the banker does not get another card.
Now the only thing is left to do is count up the value of each pile and see
which one is the highest. Remember you had to choose the one you thought was
going to win, now you can see.
This is how you check out the score of each pile:
To see the score all you have to do is remove the tens digit.
(Example)
If you have a 4 of hearts, a 2 of diamonds, and a 9 of hearts (suite doesn’t
matter) your score would be:
4+2+9=15
Your score would be: 5
If you choose the winning pile you get double your money back. If you win
the tie bet then you get the 9:1 ratio which is pretty good but unlikely.
Now you know how to play feel free to go and try out your new skills or
learn some strategies.
