BASIC GAMBLING RULES : CRAPS
Craps
Rules
Craps is a very intimidating game for beginners. It is played on a table,
only there are like walls around it like a pool table. These walls are for
the dice that you throw. In the game you have to play with 2 die. This game
is all about the luck of the roll and the ratio of winning to losing just
like all the other games. If you know how to play and you want to review all
the different kinds of bets that you can make just go
here.
The rules of the game are very simple;
You start when the players makes a *pass line bet. Then the *shooter throws
the dice.
If you roll a 7 or an 11, which is called a natural, then you win. You win
whatever is on the pass line.
In craps during the first roll if you roll 2, 3, or a 12 that’s called craps
and you lose, but the shooter does not give up the dice yet.
Now if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10 you establish what is called
*point. Durring the point phase in craps The shooter then has to roll
whatever number he rolled to establish the point. If you get a 7 before
making the point you lose. Ahh yes craps is a great game isn’t it?
The players can also make don’t pass line bet. This is like the opposite of
the passline bet.
In this case the person who makes this bet wins with different rolls. In
craps this is the way you can make the game even. The players can bet on
both sides.
If a 7 or 11 is rolled the don’t pass line bet loses. If a 2, or 3 is rolled
the don’t pass line bet loses.
If the 12 is rolled, then the don’t pass net does not win but it does not
lose, it’s a tie and you get your money back.
When a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or a 10 is rolled then you establish the point again.
Now if a 7 is rolled then the don’t pass bet wins.
So you see these are the basic types of bets. There are more types of bets
like I mentioned before but they have worse odds of winning and give the
house a much higher edge against you. Craps is not a complicated game and
can be learned by anyone.
